EFL Analysis has had a look at the top five most expensive transfers Millwall has ever welcomed to The Den.
Top five most expensive Millwall transfers
5. Zian Flemming – £2.1 million
The Dutch midfielder joined Millwall from Fortuna Sittard in the summer of 2022 for a fee of £2.1 million.
Zian Flemming would spend two full seasons with Millwall, and he would perform relatively well in the heart of the midfield.
He made 92 appearances across the two seasons, scoring 23 goals, before he went on loan to Burnley last season to help them earn promotion to the Premier League.
Ahead of the 2025/26 season, it was confirmed he had joined the Clarets permanently.
4. Casper De Norre – £2.1 million
Casper De Norre spent his entire career in Belgium until he opted to join Millwall in the summer of 2023.
Millwall acquired the defensive player from OH Leuven after he impressed in the Belgian top flight with them across the previous three seasons.

Now he has demonstrated his ability in the Championship with Millwall and has proved across his 60 appearances that he is a reliable player.
3. Mihailo Ivanovic – £2.5 million
The Serbian international has become a fan favourite incredibly quickly, joining the club in the summer of 2024.
It may have been seen as a risk to splash out on a youthful striker from Vojvodina; however, it has worked.

Mihailo Ivanovic scored 13 goals across 40 matches for Millwall and earned their Young Player of the Year award last season at the club.
There will be hope he can continue this form and fire the club into the promotion race.
2. Camiel Neghli – £3 million
Another player to have joined the club recently, with Camiel Neghli joining the London side in January 2025 to help in their promotion push.
The Algerian underage international will be hoping for a more impactful season with Millwall, as he only featured in six matches, as his season was hampered by injury.
His signing demonstrates an intent from the club to push towards the Premier League.
1 Josh Coburn – £5.5 million
Josh Coburn is the most expensive signing Millwall have ever made, and it was at the start of the 2025 summer transfer window.
Coburn had joined the club on loan the previous season, and while he may have struggled to find the net consistently, he clearly demonstrated his ability to Neil to earn a permanent move.

The 22-year-old has been identified as one of the forces to fire the club up the table, alongside Ivanovic.
He featured in 20 matches for Millwall last season during his loan spell, scoring five goals.
