EFL Analysis can reveal that Queens Park Rangers are facing a fight to keep hold of key defender, Morgan Fox.

QPR had a poor start to the season but an upturn in form has ensured they will not be sucked into the Championship relegation battle.

The Hoops are sat in 15th place going into the latest round of fixtures, already eight points clear of the relegation zone.

With survival all but confirmed, attention is now turning toward the next season and the upcoming transfer window.

Charlie Kelman can take the Championship by storm in 2025/26 after his prolific loan spell with Leyton Orient in League One.

Meanwhile, QPR could earn in excess of £10m if one transfer goes through during the summer of 2025.

On a less positive note, however, the Rs are still yet to tie down key man Morgan Fox to a new deal.

Millwall, Blackburn Rovers and Hull City want Morgan Fox

The 31-year-old has been a key player this term, but his future beyond June remains up in the air.

Speaking to transfer expert Graeme Bailey this week, we have gained an exclusive update on the situation.

EFL Analysis understands that QPR face a battle to hang on to central defender Fox.

The Welsh defender is out-of-contract this summer and we understand that he has been offered a new contract to extend his stay at Loftus Road, which dates back to 2023 when he arrived from Stoke Ctity.

However, there is interest elsewhere and we can reveal that Millwall, Blackburn and Hull City are all interested in securing a deal for the 31-year-old central defender – who can also play left-back.

Morgan Fox QPR stats

The former Sheffield Wednesday ace joined QPR back in 2023, signing from Stoke on a free transfer.

He’s since notched 45 appearances in all competitions, and though Fox has missed matches this season due to injury, he remains an important figure in the squad.

Whether or not Fox opts to extend his stay at Loftus Road is up in the air, but he will prove a valuable asset to whichever club he ends up at come August 2025.

Blackburn are in need of fresh legs at the back, while Hull have conceded over a goal a game in the league this term – a stat that they will no doubt want to put right in the next 12 months.
