Queens Park Rangers are looking to get back on track after their heavy loss to Coventry City.
The R’s were on the end of a 7-1 hammering vs Coventry last weekend to extend Julien Stephan’s winless start to life as QPR manager.
Even the signing of Richard Kone hasn’t changed the west London club’s fortunes and, in a bid to get the fans back on side, have sealed the return of a fan favourite.

QPR fans react as Isaac Hayden returns on a permanent basis
After a successful loan spell at the back end of the 2023/24 season, Isaac Hayden has returned to QPR on a permanent basis.
Hayden was a free agent after leaving Newcastle United at the end of last season and has decided to return to Loftus Road, to the excitement of fans.
@daniboyqpr said: “Quality signing ……and get a feeling it won’t be the last this bank holiday.”
@paul_martin78 added: “A much needed signing. Hopefully he can get up to speed quickly because we certainly need him.”
@ChrisChapman10 commented: “Fantastic news, exactly the sort of character needed, great pro to have in this young squad.”
@JTSupple wrote: “A most welcome addition to the middle of the park.”
Isaac Hayden’s first words as a QPR player
After signing on the dotted line to confirm his return to QPR, the 30-year-old admitted it was an easy decision to rejoin the R’s.
“Last year when I was at Portsmouth, it was quite difficult to play against the guys,” he said. “I felt like I was lining up on the wrong team!
“It was a special four months that I had at the club and you get a feeling sometimes of a place that is kind of like home. And it was just one of those situations where, for me, it was a no-brainer to come back.
“I feel like I can add a lot of value, not just on the pitch, but off the pitch as well and help drive the group forward.”
