One Cardiff City star has enticed admirers from the Premier League, as well as Scottish giants Rangers.
Cardiff City fell to relegation in the 2024/25 Championship season after Aaron Ramsey was unable to keep the side up.
Despite the drop in divisions, partnered with Ramsey moving on from Cardiff City, there is hope that new boss Brian Barry-Murphy can help the club return to the Championship.
The relegation to League One has alerted many clubs over the future of some of Cardiff’s top stars. Neil Warnock has said that losing Joe Ralls was a mistake this summer, with the Bluebirds likely to struggle without the experienced star.
Cardiff City are also open to the possibility of selling Calum Chambers, as exclusively revealed by EFL Analysis.
The departures won’t stop there either, with one teenage Cardiff star attracting the likes of Sunderland and Rangers this summer.

16-year-old Cardiff City prodigy Jack Sykes attracts interest from the Premier League
As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Cardiff City youngster Jack Sykes is attracting interest.
Rangers have been linked with Sykes, the 16-year-old gem at Cardiff, but there’s a lot of Premier League interest in him as well.
Newcastle United and Sunderland are keen on the youngster, with Brighton also interested.
Interest also exists from a number of Championship clubs.
Sykes has shone for the Bluebirds since joining the club at U14 level. The forward bagged 29 goals for the club’s youth teams last season, sparking mass interest from the Premier League and Championship in the Cardiff gem.

Cardiff City cannot afford too many sales this summer
As Cardiff City prepare for life in League One, it cannot be emphasised enough that they cannot undertake a fire sale this summer.
In order to notch success this summer, there must be plenty of emphasis on keeping the core of the squad to ensure that Brian Barry-Murphy has the tools at his disposal to deliver on expectations.
With Joe Ralls already out the door, followed by the likely departure of Calum Chambers, there need to be serious conversations had as to whether Cardiff City can lose more players after that.
If a Premier League side knocks on Cardiff’s door with a sizeable offer for youngster Jack Sykes, accepting it would be understandable. However, current first-team players need to be held to ensure the squad maintains its foundations.
