West Brom will be hopeful Ryan Mason can finally deliver a return to the Premier League this season, as the Baggies have been stuck in the Championship for a couple of years now.
In order to make their way back to the top flight of English football after being relegated in 2021, fans of the club understand that they have to have some of the best talent in the Championship.
Aune Heggebo joined the Baggies in a £4.7m deal and has a fantastic goalscoring record that will only benefit the Black Country club.
Only two teams scored fewer goals in the top half of the Championship table last season, and West Brom know a few extra on top could be the difference between a play-off place or not.
However, Mason will be hoping to strengthen the club at the back too, and West Brom may now be adding to that part of the pitch.

West Brom have held talks with Angus Gunn
There was a shock among EFL fans at the news that Norwich City released Angus Gunn at the end of last season, with the keeper being one of the best in the division and also having plenty of international experience with Scotland.
However, as per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal West Brom are believed to have held talks with the goalkeeper.

It is understood that a number of Championship clubs are interested in bringing the Scottish international into their sides.
However, counter to other reports, it is understood that ‘talks are ongoing’ to secure a deal in Türkiye.
Angus Gunn needs to find a club for his international career
The 29-year-old is viewed by many Scottish fans as the obvious first-choice for the country due to the talent he has between the sticks.
There is a desperation around Scotland at the minute regarding their goalkeeper situation, with the country lacking quality options, as seen by the mistakes made by those selected by Steve Clarke during the most recent international window.
Gunn only played seven minutes of the 3-1 loss to Iceland but was then withdrawn due to a suspected injury.
He is the only experienced option for Scotland; however, Clarke cannot justify his selection if he is not featuring regularly for a club, and so this may be why Gunn is taking his time to ensure he makes the right choice for his Scotland career ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.
