Jesurun Rak-Sakyi finally has a new club after initially looking like he wouldn’t be leaving Crystal Palace.
Coventry City tried to loan Rak-Sakyi but were unsuccessful in their attempts to bring him to the Sky Blues.
They weren’t the only Championship club in the mix either, with arch rivals Leicester City interested, as well as Sheffield United, where he spent the 2024/25 campaign.
In the end, it wasn’t to be and the Palace academy graduate has a new home instead.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi joins Turkish Super Lig side
While the transfer window had closed in England, there were still some around the world that were operating elsewhere.
Turkey was one of those and his parent club have confirmed the winger will spend the season on loan at Caykur Rizespor.
A statement from the Eagles in regards to the 22-year-old’s loan said: “We can confirm that Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has joined Turkish club Caykur Rizespor on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.
“Everyone at the club wishes Jes the very best of luck for his time in Turkey.”
How close were Coventry City to signing Jesurun Rak-Sakyi?
Frank Lampard wasn’t particularly happy about his side’s transfer window while experts think Coventry are lacking in depth.
The addition of Rak-Sakyi would’ve gone a long way to helping that, but despite launching a bid, nothing could be done in time.
There could be a chance that Coventry go back in for the wide man in January, but they may have moved on to other targets by that point, or the 22-year-old may fancy continuing his new adventure in Turkey.
