Anis Mehmeti’s post-match comments won’t do the confidence of Sheffield Wednesday fans any good following their latest defeat.
Bristol City beat Wednesday 3-0 at Hillsborough as Mehmeti played a crucial part, scoring one and assisting one.
It was a comfortable afternoon for Gerhard Struber’s men, but Mehmeti still thought there was more to come.

Anis Mehmeti thought he should have scored a hat trick in Bristol City win
The 24-year-old was a cut above anyone else on the pitch as he played a hand in two of the three goals.
Mehmeti would’ve had more on any other day after missing two solid chances, which could have seen the Robins walking away with a five or six goal victory.
“I probably could have had three or four [goals],” he told BBC Radio Bristol.
“I know it seems mad to say but it’s all about relationships and creating those bonds together and me and Twiney and Emil have been doing that, so long may it continue.
“We’re unbeaten five games in and we’ve been terrific but I think we need to keep that going. We know the Championship is a long season and it’s all about putting runs together. We’re doing that now.”
Sheffield Wednesday are missing Pierce Charles
Given the ongoing off-field issues, the task to keep the Owls in the Championship was always going to be tough for Henrik Pedersen.
Only Sheffield United are worse off after losing all five of their opening games.
Wednesday have the joint-worst record in the league for goals shipped after conceding 12 from five.
The absence of Pierce Charles has contributed significantly to that.
Charles is sidelined with injury and emergency loan signing Evan Horvath has looked less than convincing.
Teams can already smell blood when they face Wednesday, but watching them concede goals so easily isn’t helping the cause and with opposition players admitting they felt they should’ve had a hat trick is not a boost for supporters.
