Birmingham City fans are all making the same point after their club made an official announcement this week.

After completely dominating League One,  Birmingham City are one of the favourites for promotion from the Championship in 2025/26.

Tom Wagner wants to achieve back-to-back promotions and has already set about heavily improving the Blues’ squad for the upcoming campaign.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Tommy Doyle has signed for Birmingham this week after interest from the likes of Wrexham.

And Doyle has now been joined by another signing on July 4, with more incomings expected.

Birmingham City fans respond to Bright Osayi-Samuel transfer

Birmingham confirmed their latest signing in an announcement on social media on Friday.

They stated: “We are delighted to confirm the signing of Bright Osayi-Samuel. The 27-year-old joins us following the expiry of his contract with Fenerbahce and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal.”

Blues fans have been reacting to the news online, and they are in agreement that another name could be heading to St Andrew’s very soon.

One fan wrote: “OMG. What a signing and with Kyogo coming later today or tomorrow maybe.”

A second wrote: “Does that mean there’s another one yet to come, admin?”

A third responded: “Kyogo at 8,” followed by the eyes emoji.

“More in today admin? Love to see it,” another supporter asked.

A fifth replied: “Kyogo tonight then Wadmin?”

While another Blues fan echoed: “Kyogo 90+7′ Admin.”

Bright Osayi-Samuel says why he joined Birmingham City

With a deal now confirmed, Osayi-Samuel has opened up on why he decided to join Tom Wagner’s club.

He said to the club’s media: “I think it’s the project. I spoke to the owner, I spoke to the manager, and it’s a project with ambitions about what they want to do.

“Of course they did well last season getting promoted, and the ambition is not just to compete, but to get straight to the Premier League.

“Those are my ambitions too. I want to play in the Premier League and show everyone what I can do, and I think Birmingham City are giving me a platform to showcase that so I think those are the main reasons I decided to come here.

Osayi-Samuel previously spent time in England with Queens Park Rangers and Blackpool.

The versatile right-back has 109 Championship appearances under his belt, scoring 11 and assisting 12.
