Norwich City fans were left frustrated by their defeat to Wrexham, but it wasn’t Canaries supporters who were flooding the replies on the club’s post-match social media posts.
Liam Manning’s side lost 3-2 to the Championship newbies on Saturday. Jack Stacey put Norwich ahead at Carrow Road, before Wrexham hit back three times with Josh Windass scoring twice and Ryan Longman getting a goal in between the former Sheffield Wednesday ace’s double. Jovon Makama bagged a consolation goal in the second minute of added time.
The Canaries sit 14th in the table as a result having now lost three, won two and drawn one league game. In four home games in all competitions, Manning has overseen four defeats, conceding ten goals.
Manning joined Norwich from Bristol City this summer – and Robins fans certainly aren’t shying away from saying ‘we told you so’.

Bristol City fans say they ‘don’t miss’ Liam Manning
With City waiting until Sunday to play Oxford United, plenty of them were online to comment about Manning on social media.
One replied to his post-match Norwich interview saying: “Nah we’re glad he has [gone] we’ve literally got a better manager now.”
A second, highlighting their upcoming fixture, said: “Don’t sack him before the 18th Oct.”
A Norwich fan noted the replies, writing: “Red flags should have been raised when Bristol City fans were glad to get rid despite making the play offs.”
“I have not missed these interviews one bit hahaha thanks for taking him off us, making us better and giving us a million pounds in the process x,” another City supporter said.
Gerhard Struber oversaw Bristol City’s best league start since 2020/21

The Robins enjoyed their best start to a league season with 11 points after 5 games since 2020/21.
They won 13 in their opening five games of that campaign. However, they went onto finish 19th that campaign.
