Ahead of Chris Wilder’s reinstatement as Sheffield United boss, he has been urged to not make one mistake by an EFL expert.
Sheffield United relieved Ruben Selles of his duties following five straight losses to kick off the Championship season.
Pressure was always on Sheffield United to perform under Selles after the owners went in a different direction to move on from Chris Wilder, a decision that, in hindsight, has completely backfired.
Now that Sheffield United owners COH Sports are set to revert back to Wilder, the incoming Blades boss has been warned not to accept one thing, which, according to reports, he may be set to fall for.

Chris Wilder urged not to accept ‘the same terms’ at Sheffield United
It looks set that Chris Wilder will return to his previous contract at Sheffield United, which he has been urged against doing by EFL expert Justin Peach.
While Wilder has made it clear that he holds no resentment towards Sheffield United owners COH Sports, he has been told that he should demand extra because of the way that he was let go in the summer.
“I think the worst thing is I read in some reports that it’s on the same terms as he was on before, same contract as it was on before,” said Peach via The Second Tier Podcast.
“Obviously, we won’t know about that, but if I were Chris Wilder, come on. I’d be negotiating a much more significant deal there.
“I think Chris Wilder potentially coming back can only be a good thing. But in all seriousness, what is the point? It screams of panic decision-making at a critical level of the football club. And I will reiterate Chris Wilder should never have been sacked and I think he will have success again at Sheffield United.”
Wilder will be tasked with overturning Sheffield United’s poor start after they notched zero points in five games.
Chris Wilder deserves praise for accepting COH Sports apology
COH Sports’ decision to revert from their left-field approach that saw Ruben Selles come in for Chris Wilder has been coming, given the results on the pitch.
It was a terrible mistake to make by the owners, but they have successfully made ground by returning to Wilder, which feels like an apology for the ill-informed decision on their part.
While Wilder could have turned away an approach from Sheffield United, as would be justified by the way he was replaced this summer, he has put any ill feeling he might have of the owners to the side.
Once again, Wilder comes in as Sheffield United’s saviour due to the love he has for the club, and that deserves recognition from the supporters who had lost all hope during the short reign of Selles in S2.
