Queens Park Rangers endured a dramatic end to the 2024/25 Championship campaign, with changes in the dressing room and dugout ahead this summer.
In the 2024/25 campaign, Marti Cifuentes kept QPR safe from relegation to League One, after the R’s flirted with relegation throughout the season.
Cifuentes was placed on gardening leave by the R’s amid his failed move to West Brom, and had been named in Middlesbrough’s manager search before Boro appointed Rob Edwards this week.
QPR have targeted Julien Stephan, who was the former Rennes and Strasbourg head coach, to become the next R’s manager ahead of the 2025/26 Championship campaign.
With the summer transfer window now in full swing, and Stephan’s arrival at Loftus Road imminent, EFL Analysis has taken a look at the confirmed incomings and outgoings at QPR so far this summer.

QPR recently added to the squad with the arrival of Perth Glory midfielder Jaylan Pearman, with the Australia Under-20 Asian Cup champion initially linking up with the development squad.
Pearman joins QPR from the A-League giants after scoring four goals in 12 appearances for Perth, which saw him named the club’s Young Player of the Year.

The latest QPR transfer rumours
The biggest transfer development at Loftus Road this summer centres around Jimmy Dunne’s extension of his QPR contract.
Dunne was close to joining Sheffield United, and was expected to become a free agent this summer, but in a positive turn of events for the QPR faithful, the versatile defender has penned a new contract with the club.
QPR fans are all in agreement about the ‘best decision’ made by the R’s hierarchy this summer, and the retainment of Dunne could prove to be the club’s best signing by the time the 2025/26 Championship campaign rolls around.
