Leicester City fans are waxing lyrical about one of their young stars after they continued their strong start to pre-season.
The Foxes made it two wins from two after beating sister side OH Leuven, where they played three 45-minute games.
Marti Cifuentes is close to becoming the new Leicester manager and if he was watching from afar, there is one name in particular that would’ve caught his eye.

Leicester City fans are impressed by Jeremy Monga again
Jeremy Monga is a name on everyone’s lips at Leicester.
Monga turned down Manchester City and PSG to stay with the Foxes and has been a key part of pre-season.
The 16-year-old became the second youngest Premier League debutant of all time in the 2024/25 campaign and started in the first game against Leuven.
He even played a part in the opening goal as his jinking run and effort deflected in off the opposition defender and supporters are already excited to see him in the Championship.
@RisingFoxes said: “Quality again from Jeremy Monga. Not just today, but it feels like every time I watch him, he gets better and better.”
@lcfch11 added: “Jeremy Monga is actually our best player like he’s actually Messi.”
@MattTrev39 wrote: “Jeremy Monga has all the hallmarks of a world class player. Watching him today, compared to others, he looks like a £100 million player. Superb talent if he can stay injury free.”
@kelsen_sachin also said: “Jeremy Monga is a special, special talent. All the best attributes of a winger he’s got them at 16. A genuine generational talent on our hands. Breathtaking player.”
@LewisVocey posted: “A good chance I tweet ‘Jeremy Monga’ about 50 times between now and the end of the season.”
Marti Cifuentes must make Jeremy Monga a first team regular
Supporters got a glimpse of what to expect from Monga in the final weeks of the Premier League season, but this year, there is hope that he will be one of the first names on the team sheet.
Playing the youth should be a priority for Cifuentes at Leicester this season and Monga will be the number one candidate.
Leicester fans will like that Cifuentes brought through the next generation at Queens Park Rangers, handing debuts to a number of young stars.
With a points deduction looming over the Foxes’ heads, the Spaniard will have to look to the future and the winger has already proved he is capable of playing a key role in the Championship.
