Leicester City finally appear to have a new manager.
Marti Cifuentes is expected to become the new Leicester boss after entering into talks with the Foxes.
Gary O’Neil and Chris Wilder were interviewed by Leicester, as well as outgoing Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl, but none made the cut.
It’s going to be a massive job for Cifuentes to take on and it will be his first job since the former Queens Park Rangers boss was placed on gardening leave.
With that, EFL Analysis looks at three things that the Spaniard can do to win supporters over.

Keep Andy King on the coaching team
Andy King has taken pre-season training at Leicester ever since they chose to sack Ruud van Nistelrooy.
King is Leicester embodied and if anyone ‘gets it’, it’s him.
The former midfielder won League One, the Championship and the Premier League with the Foxes and returned to the club in a coaching capacity last season.
He eventually formed a part of Van Nistelrooy’s coaching staff but with Cifuentes needing people who are on board with the project, there is no better person than King to help him through that.
Restore the connection between the club and fans
Right now it feels like the club and it’s supporters are so far apart.
Jon Rudkin has received the brunt of the abuse from fans, with Richard Keys echoing their thoughts that Rudkin should be sacked.
Supporters feel betrayed by a lack of communication from the hierarchy but need a manager who can reunite both together.
That doesn’t necessarily mean dramatic fist pumps at the end of each win, but someone that is honest and transparent and can make those heading to the King Power Stadium feel like they have a team to be proud of.
Give the youth a chance
Leicester’s academy is a goldmine of talent right now.
Jeremy Monga signed a professional contract with the Foxes and is expected to be a key part of the squad going forward.
There’s also Ben Nelson, Will Alves, Jake Evans, Louis Page and many more who have been training with the first team and even featuring in competitive games and pre-season this year.
A points deduction is expected to be inflicted on Leicester and that may impact how they operate in the market.
Fans have been crying out for more local representation in the senior squad and it would be a great way to kick off his tenure.
