Leicester City have one of the best squads in the Championship.
Marti Cifuentes is fortunate to have a plethora of talents ranging from Abdul Fatawu to teenage sensation Jeremy Monga.
The Foxes also lost plenty of high-profile talents including Bilal El Khannouss to Stuttgart, whm he will join permanently for £25m next summer.
Despite the loss of big-name players, there are still plenty of valuable assets at the King Power Stadium, however, their most valuable will come as a surprise.

Victor Kristiansen named Leicester City’s most valuable player
As of September 2025, the CIES Football Observatory has published a new list of every club’s most valuable player.
In Leicester’s side, you’d have expected one of the likes of Fatawu or Harry Winks but that top prize goes to Victor Kristiansen, who is valued between £19.9m-£22.5m.
Kristiansen joined the Foxes in January 2023 from Copenhagen in a deal worth £16m but soon found himself on the fringes of the first team.
Relegation to the Championship saw the left-back then join Bologna on loan before returning for the Premier League campaign, where he struggled.
It appears that the 22-year-old isn’t a part of Cifuentes’ plans and is yet to kick a ball for Leicester this season.
Victor Kristiansen still has time to end Leicester City nightmare
Both parties will agree that the transfer hasn’t gone to plan and with the World Cup coming up next year, Kristiansen will want to do everything possible to put himself in the reckoning to be in the Denmark squad.
Nottingham Forest were linked with Kristiansen but no offer ever came in for the former Copenhagen talent.
Luckily, the transfer windows in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and some other select nations remain open for a few more days, which could offer an escape route.
