Liam Manning has had a productive start to life as Norwich City boss.
After recovering from an opening day defeat to beat Portsmouth at the weekend, his philosophy is beginning to take shape at Carrow Road.
Big-name arrivals like Mathias Kvistgaarden have caught the eye while key talisman Josh Sargent has turned down Bundesliga sides to stay, despite continued interest.
Having lost Borja Sainz already, they don’t want any other major names to go but Manning has revealed that they will be without Marcelino Nunez for some time.

Marcelino Nunez injury confirmed by Liam Manning
Nunez is a central figure in the middle of the park for Norwich and unsurprisingly, has caught the eye of some clubs.
However, Manning revealed that the Canaries have been dealt a huge blow by confirming that the 25-year-old suffered an ankle injury and will be out until September at least.
“Nacho had a bit of swelling,” he explained.
“Obviously, he tried to continue in the game but was unable to do so. We’ve scanned it and had a look and it is a matter of weeks, not months. Which is good news, to be fair, in terms of it could have been a lot worse than it is.”
Liam Manning says Norwich won’t make more signings
As well as Nunez, Amankwah Forson has also picked up an early-season injury while Kenny McClean has returned to training.
It could be enough concern for some managers to delve into the market to find reinforcements, but Manning seems keen to stick with what he’s got.
The Norwich boss added: “In terms of where Nacho was playing anyway. But also, I think, in terms of we’ve got other bodies coming back.
“We’ve seen bits of Kenny (McLean) in training this week as well. Although he still has got a lot of work to do due to missing most of the pre season. But when you look at it, I think we’ve got the depth, we’ve got the options. That’s not an issue.”
