West Brom forward Isaac Price continues his incredible goalscoring form as the Baggies star scores against Germany in the World Cup qualifiers.

Several Championship stars find themselves on international duty, including West Brom gem Isaac Price.

Price has enjoyed a terrific start to life under West Brom boss Ryan Mason, having contributed significantly to his side’s 10 points in four games.

The West Brom attacking midfielder has three goals and one assist to his name at this early stage of the 2025/26 Championship season, and he has managed to take that electric form on the road with Northern Ireland.

While it was Southampton star Shea Charles who shone for Northern Ireland last time out, Price took centre stage on this occasion, having given his country a memorable moment in Germany.

What the Northern Irish media said as West Brom star Isaac Price shines

Isaac Price gave Northern Ireland an incredible moment as he scored his 10th goal for his country, this time coming against the might of Germany in a World Cup qualifier. The goal was to make it 1-1, however Northern Ireland would go on to suffer an unfortunate 3-1 defeat.

To make it eight goals in nine caps for Northern Ireland, West Brom’s Price snuck in behind the German defence, slamming a strike past the unfortunate grasp of veteran Oliver Baumann.

The Northern Irish media reacted to the finish, with Belfast Live describing it as a ‘magnificent strike for his 10th international goal’.

Belfast Telegraph also gave their thoughts on the strike as well as his entire contribution to the game, having written: “Wonderful finish from Devenny’s corner. Poor defending – where were the Germans, frankly who cares? Goal number 10 for Price.

“Helped out defence early on, the West Brom man was at times guilty of conceding possession. Was stopped by Rudiger, who picked up yellow card.”

As a result of his clinical finish against Germany, Price has broken the record to become the youngest player to score 10 goals for Northern Ireland, having completed the feat at just 21 years old.

Isaac Price has limitless potential at West Brom

The phenomenal performances of Isaac Price at Northern Ireland only cover an ounce of what he is truly capable of: West Brom supporters already know that he is destined for greatness in his career.

His improvement under Ryan Mason has been immense so far, having struggled to make a significant impact at the back end of last season when looking at the numbers, scoring just one goal in 15 appearances.

Mason has worked out how to get the best out of the West Brom prodigy, giving him more consistency regarding his position, compared to Tony Mowbray who utilised him in several different positions.

West Brom have undergone a brilliant start to the Championship season, and hopefully that can continue if Price maintains his electric streak.
