Wrexham were beaten in their second Championship game of the season on Saturday afternoon, with West Brom taking all three points back to the West Midlands in a 3-2 win.
Isaac Price handed the visitors the lead in the 20th minute, before Lewis O’Brien scored his first goal since joining the Red Dragons from Nottingham Forest last month. However, Price made it a brace for himself just after Jed Wallace had handed the Baggies the lead once again late in the second-half.
Sam Smith halved the deficit in injury time, but it was not enough to stop West Brom from making it two wins from two, while the Welsh outfit remain without a point.
It leaves Wrexham just above the relegation zone for now, but there are fresh concerns about one Wrexham player ahead of their clash with Sheffield Wednesday at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday.
Josh Windass may not feature for Wrexham against Sheffield Wednesday
Josh Windass left Sheffield Wednesday as a free agent in the summer, joining the Red Dragons ahead of their first second-tier campaign since 1982.

He scored on his debut against Southampton on the opening weekend, firing in from the penalty spot to hand his side the lead, but he was forced off against West Brom on Saturday. Now, there are fears that he could miss the game against the Owls.
His manager, Phil Parkinson, said after the final whistle (via: BBC Sport): “I haven’t spoken to the physio yet, I’ll speak to Kev [Kevin Mulholland] in a minute. When a player pulls up like that, it’s not good.”
He came off the pitch after just 30 minutes, and he will be gutted if this injury does keep him out of the contest at the weekend.

Josh Windass would have cherished playing against Sheffield Wednesday
It’s only been three months since Windass last donned the blue-and-white of the Owls, and as Wrexham chase their first point of the season, they will need all the firepower they can muster on Saturday.
Coming off with a hamstring problem suggests that the 31-year-old will be out for a sustained period of time, and this will be a huge frustration for Parkinson.

Windass is a cult icon at Sheffield Wednesday, having scored the goal to send the club to the Championship in 2023, heading the ball into the back of the net in injury time of extra-time in the play-off final against Barnsley.
He scored 13 goals and registered five assists for the Owls last season, but it seems as though he will be forced to watch on from the stands on Saturday.
