Tom Wagner has been discussed as Birmingham City prepare for life back in the Championship.
Birmingham City dominated League One during their brief spell in the third tier, securing 111 points.
Tom Wagner made a big Chris Davies claim following his excellent debut season at St Andrew’s, comparing him to a top Premier League manager.
Davies has brought much success to the Midlands, 12 months on from their heartbreaking relegation, and a message from Tom Brady.
Ahead of the 2025/26 season, Birmingham are targeting the Premier League and will be one of the most aggressive sides in England this summer.
Wagner’s ambition for the club has now been discussed by one Sky Sports pundit.

Don Goodman on Birmingham City owner Tom Wagner
Birmingham can offer huge sums of money to potential transfer targets compared to their Championship rivals, with plans in place for them to ‘do an Ipswich’.
Now, Don Goodman has been discussing the prospect of the Blues making it to the Premier League and his thoughts on Wagner.
Goodman said he has no doubts about Wagner’s ambition and told fans to be excited.
He said to Football League World: “I’ve got no doubt about the ambition of Tom Wagner for Birmingham City.
“The plans have been there from the very start in terms of the proposed new stadium, the development of the infrastructure around that stadium and the amenities of the local area.
“It’s all very, very ambitious and very exciting if you’re a Birmingham City supporter.
“I have no doubt about his commitment to taking Birmingham City to the Premier League.
“How quickly that can happen remains to be seen but if I was a Birmingham City fan, I’d be very excited.”

Birmingham City transfer latest
If they are to reach the Premier League in 2025/26, some big signings will probably need to be made.
Che Adams is a target for the club as they draw up their summer transfer wishlist.
Birmingham are likely to arrange loan-to-buy deals for players, with the idea that they will get promoted and then spend big, much like Sunderland just did.
Elsewhere, Danny Ings could be an option for the Blues, who we understand want a new forward this summer.
