Birmingham City have endured a very mixed period since Tom Brady decided to invest in the club.
Right now, Birmingham City are flying high and are set to secure a swift return to the Championship.
Birmingham can break a League One record – which would be their third of the season – after domianting the third tier ahead of the likes of Wrexham and Wycombe Wanderers.

The Midlands outfit will also get a chance to secure their first piece of silverware in over a decade when they meet Peterborough United at Wembley for the EFL Trophy final next month.
Prior to 2024/25 and their constant success, the Blues were going through a very difficult period and Tom Brady’s feelings at the time were made clear.

Burnley’s J.J. Watt revealed Tom Brady feelings on Birmingham City
Birmingham suffered relegation from the Championship in 2023/24, with Brady sending a message to fans in the aftermath of their final-day clash with Norwich City.
It was the first time the club had suffered relegation to League One and the first time they had been demoted to the third tier of English football since 1994.
At the same time, fellow NFL icon J.J Watt was also going through a difficult period with Burnley, whom he is the minority owner of.
The Clarets were relegated from the Premier League in the same season Birmingham went down to League One.
Despite both of their teams struggling, however, Watt revealed back in April 2024 when speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, that he and Brady ‘love it’.
He said: “We [J.J. and Tom Brady] spoke this week about [his investment in Birmingham City] because they are trying to get out [of the relegation zone], so we’re both in a similar situation in different leagues right now.
“I know that he’s working with them on the training and some of the physical aspects because he’s got his business from that as well. We both love it.”
Tom Brady and JJ Watt could clash in Championship next season
Since Brady invested in Birmingham, they have not come up against Watt’s Burnley.
However, there is a good chance that the two clubs could be going head-to-head next season.
Birmingham’s promotion is yet to be confirmed but it will happen barring a complete collapse.
As for Burnley, they are in the race for promotion from the Championship but currently sit outside the top two.
