Plymouth Argyle forward is set to depart this summer following the club’s relegation from the Championship, with interest in Europe rife for his signature.
The summer transfer window is set to bring further change to Home Park after Tom Cleverley replaced Miron Muslic in the dugout.
Plymouth Argyle suffered relegation to League One last season, and the squad that the former Watford boss inherited will look vastly different from his first third tier starting XI in August.
Adam Randell is leaving Plymouth this summer and will join another mainstay of Argyle’s 2024/25 campaign out the exit door after frontman Ryan Hardie completed a move to Wrexham.
Another crucial Plymouth star, Mustapha Bundu, is poised to leave the club this summer after garnering interest from clubs in England as well as in Germany.

Championship clubs must beat interest in Germany for Mustapha Bundu
Bundu was one of the shining lights in Argyle’s ill-fated Championship relegation campaign last term.
The Sierra Leone international finished the season as Plymouth’s second-top goalscorer, with 11 goals and six assists in all competitions, but could not keep the club safe from relegation.
Bundu is poised to leave Plymouth this summer, upon the expiry of the contract he signed in his switch from Belgian giants Anderlecht in 2023, concluding his two-season stay at Argyle on 14 goals and eight assists from 70 appearances.
Whichever suitor secures his signature will be completing an impressive bit of business as a result of Bundu becoming a free agent and his impressive goalscoring prowess last season.
Plymouth Live reported last month that “clubs in England and Germany” were interested in signing the forward this summer, with Bundu’s agent stating: “He’s not really keen on playing in League One, he wants to try something else. There is possibilities in England, also possibilities in Germany.”

The Green Army were desperate to see the versatile forward sign new terms at Home Park, but the 28-year-old is intent on exploring new opportunities higher in footballing calibre than the third tier.
Bundu played the best football of his Plymouth career under Muslic, and the former Argyle boss also wanted him to stay before he departed to Schalke.
As per Plymouth Live, Muslic said of Bundu: “On a personal level, I think he was brilliant.
“I have a reputation of being capable to develop players, and his development the last four months was outstanding, even today. I think Mustapha Bundu has qualities and you know my opinion about him.”
With the interest from Germany coinciding with Muslic’s departure for Schalke, the Green Army will be worried that the departed head coach is planning to raid his former club.

Miron Muslic could target Mustapha Bundu after Plymouth Argyle exits
Muslic was slammed by the Plymouth chairman for his conduct amid his switch to German giants FC Schalke in the post-season, which saw Argyle fans accuse Muslic of “jumping at the first opportunity” following relegation.
Since his dubious departure, the Austrian head coach has wasted no time twisting the knife for the Green Army, after naming former Plymouth loanee Nikola Katic as a transfer target at Schalke.
The manager who oversaw Plymouth’s relegation from the Championship could now also target one of his most productive talents utilised during his Argyle tenure.
Although the “interest from Germany” does not name the club or clubs interested, Muslic would likely love to bring Bundu with him to Schalke, given how impressive the forward was under his tutelage.
Bundu was largely ineffective under Wayne Rooney, but was transformed after the arrival of Muslic.
He scored just eight times in his first 60 Plymouth appearances, before scoring six in his last ten games with Muslic at the helm, including an impressive brace in the 3-1 win against play-off chasing Coventry City.
A positional shift masterminded by Muslic was imperative for Bundu, who was employed largely as a number nine, which led to the best goalscoring stint of his two-season stint at Home Park.
With Muslic pivotal to his development, and Bundu on the move in the wake of Argyle’s relegation, a reunion for the former Plymouth duo at the Bundesliga Two outfit could be conceivable this summer.
