Blackpool will be looking to win promotion this season to return to the Championship as they embark on their third season outside the second tier.
Steve Bruce has been making inroads to achieving that with some of his transfer dealings thus far in the summer, as he signed a League One cheat code, as he looks to get Blackpool back to the Championship when they signed George Honeyman.
Now he did have to bid farewell to promising youngster Rob Apter, with Blackpool fans letting their feelings be known about his move to Charlton Athletic.
However, the fact that Apter was able to flourish at Blackpool demonstrates that the club is the perfect environment for promising youngsters, and Bruce is looking to bring one in to give them an opportunity to shine.

Blackpool looking to sign Dale Taylor from Nottingham Forest
The Northern Ireland international has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with it being reported Nottingham Forest are willing to allow the striker to leave the club.
Blackpool are one of the interested parties in acquiring the services of Dale Taylor; however, they will have to see off Championship clubs and fellow League One rivals.
Taylor has demonstrated his pedigree in the third division of the English pyramid, having scored 25 goals at this level across his loan spells at Burton Albion, Wycombe Wanderers, and most recently Wigan Athletic.
As reported by the Belfast Telegraph, the Seasiders are interested in the Northern Irishman and Michael Smith, with Bruce addressing the rumours.

He said: “Both are very good players and are the sort of calibre that we are looking at.
“It’d be unfair for me to start mentioning names of individuals, but that’s the sort of level of player we are looking at to help us for what is going to be a really tough campaign ahead.
““We’d all love someone 20 or 21; everyone enjoys a young one. We’ve done very well with the young players we have brought forward.
“Let’s see what becomes available; we’re just getting ready to go to work, and let’s see.”

Should Dale Taylor opt to join Blackpool this summer, it could be a move that is mutually beneficial for both, allowing them to thrive this season.
Blackpool are looking to make a return to the Championship and know a striker who can score goals is required, with the club also rumoured to be interested in Jerry Yates.
However, the 21-year-old is hungry for the chance to kickstart his senior career, having impressed at three different clubs on loan, and he could be the clinical player Steve Bruce needs for his side.
While at Wigan Athletic last season, Taylor demonstrated all his best qualities in front of goal, and his international experience would prove a desirable quality the manager sees in the player.
Taylor has improved year upon year in terms of his goal tally, and this season could be the campaign he nets 20 while in tangerine.
