Now that Leicester City know they will be in the Championship next season, all focus is on next season.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is unlikely to stay at the Foxes after a very disappointing campaign, which has seem them relegated with five games to spare.
Jamie Vardy labelled the season as embarrassing in a brutal social media post in what could be the Leicester legend’s final year at the club with his contract up in the summer.
it’s time for a new generation to step up ahead of the return to the Championship and with only a few games of their Premier League era, there’s no time like the present to give them a run out in the side ahead of playing a more crucial role next term.
So, with that, here are three Leicester City youngsters that the club should be preparing for the Championship now.
Olabade Aluko

Probably the least-talked about in the list, Olabade Aluko is an 18-year-old defender who largely operates as a right-back, but can also fill in the centre-back role if necessary.
He was an unused substitute in the draw against Brighton & Hove Albion and has trained with the first-team for large parts of the season.
James Justin has had a disappointing season, Ricardo Pereira is in the latter stages of his career and January signing Woyo Coulibaly seems out of the picture already. Why not give him a start.
Jeremy Monga
The most obvious of the three. Jeremy Monga is the second-youngest Premier League debutant of all time and aged 15, is already wanted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Monga has had a handful of appearances from the bench but now it’s all done, the winger can play with an extra sense of freedom and may even get a start from the off.
Lots of teams will want to sign him this summer – the Foxes must show Monga that his immediate future remains at the King Power Stadium.
Jake Evans
Nobody at Leicester wants to admit it, but Jamie Vardy is approaching the end of his Foxes career.
The forward was meant to have a fairytale ending but sadly, the final chapter seems to be ending on a sour note.
But as one hero (could) departs, another can be born and Jake Evans may well be that. The 16-year-old has been scoring goals for fun in the Under-21s and the striker is blessed with plenty of pace.

Videos from the training ground have shown Evans holding his own against players twice his age at times. Patson Daka isn’t scoring and Odsonne Edouard is out of the equation, so the youngster can’t be any worse.
