Leicester City begin their Championship campaign against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Wednesday’s players will play against Leicester after some talk of the players will go on strike, while the away end are planning mass protests.
The Foxes are one of the favourites for promotion this season and Marti Cifuentes will be in the Leicester dugout for the first time.
It’s promotion or nothing for Leicester and back in 2014, they faced the Owls in a game that played a big part in their journey to the top flight.

Leicester ended 10-year absence from Premier League with Wednesday win
Under Nigel Pearson in the 2013/14 season, the Foxes were the superior force in the Championship.
They registered the second-highest points total in Championship history with 102 and when they came up against Wednesday in April 2014, were on the verge of promotion.
20 games unbeaten at the time, they knew that a win, along with QPR dropping points to Bournemouth the following day, would confirm promotion and Pearson’s men did exactly what was asked of them.
Legendary winger Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring on the 37th minute mark when he fired past Chris Kirkland.
Michail Antonio equalised for the Owls but in the end it was Anthony Knockaert’s stunning free-kick that settled the result.
Promotion to the Premier League was confirmed for Leicester just one day later and the rest, as they say, is history.
Sheffield Wednesday have the upper hand on Leicester in H2H games
Wednesday only have 16 first-team players to select from and it is hard to predict how they will fare at the King Power Stadium.
One glimmer of hope they can have going into the game, however, is that they have the better record across all competitive meetings against the Foxes.
| Leicester wins | 41 |
| Draws | 29 |
| Sheffield Wednesday wins | 42 |
Henrik Pedersen’s side have won 42 of the 112 meetings between the two, whereas Leicester have won 41.
But, it’s highly likely that the Foxes will go level due to their much stronger squad.
