EFL Analysis has a round up of all of the latest transfer news including updates on Viktor Gyokeres, Josh Sargent, Watford and more.

The second tier is stacked with talented clubs and as of today, only Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday remain as the two teams yet to add a new player to their ranks.

With that, here is all of the latest transfer news for you.

Coventry City will receive a small percentage of Viktor Gyokeres fee

Coventry City can look back and say they played a huge role in the development of Viktor Gyokeres.

The Sweden international joined Sporting CP from Coventry and has been in electric form in Lisbon, grabbing the attention of clubs across Europe.

Arsenal look like his next destination for £55m, meaning that Coventry will be entitled to 10 per cent of Gyokeres’ fee.

It could’ve been 15 per cent, however, the Sky Blues sold five per cent of the clause back to Sporting last summer.

Watford closing in on Bayern Munich wonder kid

Watford and Bayern Munich are two clubs you’re unlikely to say in the same sentence many times but the Hornets have worked hard to complete a deal to sign one of Australian football’s best young talents.

Nestory Irankunda is set to join Watford from the German champions for a reported £2.6m, however, Bayern will include a 50 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.

Irankunda is one of Australia’s most exciting youngsters aged 19 and will be hoping that regular first-team action could finally see him break into the national team set-up.

Djeidi Gassama explains why he left Sheffield Wednesday

Djeidi Gassama was expected to leave Sheffield Wednesday this summer due to the ongoing financial issues and on Tuesday, that transfer was complete.

Gassama joined Rangers on a four-year contract and will link up with former Southampton manager Russell Martin.

Explaining why he chose to go north of the border, the winger told Rangers’ official website: “I am very happy to be here and to join the club. I am very excited to start with my new club, it is a club with a lot of history, and I am very happy. This is a big club, and I need that for my next level and I think it can help me progress.

Josh Sargent could secure Bundesliga return

Norwich City have been busy in the transfer market and had feared they would lose their best players only to see that Josh Sargent is still at Carrow Road.

Daniel Farke is a huge fan of Sargent and Leeds United have always been expected to make a bid for the USMNT forward.

But, Sargent could be returning to the Bundesliga after Wolfsburg were one of the teams credited with interest.

It’s believed that Norwich would want in the region of £20m to part ways with him, but don’t rule out a later summer exit just yet.
