Hull City have had a superb start to the 2025/26 Championship campaign.
After a summer of uncertainty at the MKM Stadium, the Tigers are unbeaten in their first two games of the season, with Oli McBurnie scoring a last-minute winner against Oxford United on Sunday to seal all three points for Sergej Jakirovic’s side.
It was an extremely important victory after the East Yorkshire outfit struggled for home form last season, and now there is a little bit of positivity surrounding the club as their three-window transfer fee ban was reduced to two.
Nevertheless, Hull remain restricted to free agents and loan signings, with a new target identified.
Hull City line up loan move for Amir Hadziahmetovic
According to Ajansspor, the Tigers are lining up a loan move for Besiktas defensive midfielder Amir Hadziahmetovic.

The 28-year-old made 11 Super Lig appearances for the Turkish giants last season after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Caykur Rizespor, for whom he played 21 league games.
However, with his game time set to be limited at Besiktas, Hull may be able to offer him a reprieve with the Championship outfit reportedly set to cover half of his wage packet if a deal is agreed.
Hadziahmetovic has made 57 appearances for his current club since joining in 2023 from Konyaspor – a side that he spent seven years at.

The Tigers have had a surprisingly strong summer
While the off-field situation has not been ideal by any stretch, there is no denying that Hull are coming out of the transfer window looking relatively strong.
Many expected the Tigers to be involved in the scrap for survival, and while it is early days in the season, they have made an excellent start.

Hadziahmetovic is a very experienced player, having earned 30 caps for Bosnia & Herzegovina so far in his career, and he would be an excellent signing.
Nevertheless, with less than two weeks to go in the transfer window, Jakirovic will be keen to get the last elements of his squad settled sooner rather than later.
