EFL Analysis can confirm that one Burnley player has now informed the Clarets that he has agreed a deal with a foreign side.
Burnley have won promotion back to the Premier League following a superb 2024/25 season.
The Clarets achieved a record-breaking points haul, but still missed out on the Championship title to Leeds United.
Regardless, promotion was secured either way, and attention has now turned towards Burnley’s summer transfer plans and preparing for life back in the top flight.
However, Scott Parker will have to do so without one player who has been a key figure over the last year.

We understand the deal was done by BlueCo – owners of Strasbourg and Chelsea, and their scouts have recommended him to the club, along with Liam Rosenior.

Burnley had the best defence in the second tier last term, with the centre-back playing a key role in that incredible feat.
The 22-year-old has earned high praise from Parker for his efforts who, as per the Lancashire Telegraph, dubbed him ‘immense’ back in November.
He said: “I’m pleased for CJ, he’s been immense since he’s come in, a young boy who’s probably not had a lot of opportunities since he’s been at the club, and deserved that goal tonight.
“He’s been the backbone, a driving force with the back four, back five with the goalkeeper, and also the team, in terms of the clean sheets and defensive work of this team.
“CJ has brought a lot of quality, he deserves his opportunity and he’s taken it with both hands. I’m really pleased for him.”
