An Ipswich Town hero is open to returning to England after a short spell abroad came to an end.
Ipswich have stepped it up a notch in recent weeks, and thumping wins against Sheffield United and Portsmouth have seen the Tractor Boys climb up the table.
Kieran McKenna’s men have moved on and new heroes are beginning to develop, but for one hero from the previous Championship promotion-winning side is now on the hunt for his new club.

Sam Morsy open to returning to English football
Sam Morsy left Ipswich to make a surprise move to Kuwait, but the move was anything but a success.
After one red card and three appearances, Morsy terminated his contract and is now a free agent.
According to Alan Nixon, the former Ipswich midfielder is open to returning to English football to reignite his career.
The Egypt international isn’t allowed to sign for a club until January, but is able to sign a pre-contract and join on the first day of 2026.
Three Championship clubs that could sign Sam Morsy
Ipswich Town
It would be an emotional return for sure, but it would be an easy sell too.
Morsy knows the club; his family have settled there previously. While he may not be a first-team regular anymore, he would have plenty to offer.
Sheffield United
Chris Wilder likes tough, tenacious midfielders and that’s what Morsy offers. The 34-year-old would be a great mentor for young stars like Sydie Peck and provide a bit of bite in midfield.
Ben Mee is a hit with the Sheffield United fans already, and Morsy could have that same effect.
Derby County
John Eustace won’t be happy with how Derby County have started the season.
Their business in the summer was good, but they haven’t got going and still look like they are trying to gel.
The leadership, strength in unity and experience in the middle could be a strong catalyst for Derby going forward.
