The transfer window may have shut for clubs in England, but it is still open in other parts of the world, and Norwich City may lose one of their players following the deadline on September 1.
A Canaries player has now been linked with a move away from Carrow Road to Africa, despite the transfer deadline passing for Norwich City.
Norwich are not the only club who may fall foul of other transfer windows across the world being open, as Blackburn Rovers could lose Makhtar Gueye to Turkey.

However, Liam Manning will not care about Blackburn’s woes and will focus on the potential of losing their player this September.

Norwich City’s Anis Ben Slimane linked with ES Tunis
Norwich City’s outcast, Anis Ben Slimane, is being linked with a loan move to Tunisian club Esperance Sportif de Tunis, despite the summer transfer window being closed for the Canaries.
Former African Champions League winners, ES Tunis, are weighing up a short-term deal for the Tunisian international ahead of a September 20 deadline.
Tunisian broadcaster Nessma Sport reported on Slimane being under consideration, as reported in Pink Un.
Liam Manning made it clear that he was happy with his midfield options, and that was with the knowledge that he wished for Slimane to leave the club.

Another Norwich City outcast set to remain
Slimane was not the only player Norwich City wished would depart the club this summer, as Liam Manning made it clear over the summer that he wished to see Shane Duffy depart the club.
The Republic of Ireland international remained at Carrow Road despite Liam Manning hoping he would depart.

It is unlikely he will make a move to another country on loan or through a permanent deal away from Norwich City ahead of the deadlines for those countries that still have their transfer windows open.
Duffy may regret not finding a move before the transfer deadline in England, with the Ireland international potentially dreaming of playing at the World Cup in the summer of 2026, with the defender likely to make a move at the earliest in January.
