Middlesbrough are closing in on their fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
The Teessiders have so far completed three transfers this summer, all of whom have now made their debuts for the club.
But after a disappointing 4-0 loss to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday, Rob Edwards discussed more arrivals, which he said were coming.
Now, it has emerged this week that Middlesbrough are signing Sontje Hansen from NEC Nijmegen.

How Middlesbrough plan to use Sontje Hansen
Middlesbrough want to sign another striker and a left-wing-back in the remainder of this window.
But Hansen, though he is an attacker, is not expected to be used in the number nine role.
EFL Analysis has spoken exclusively to our transfer expert, Graeme Bailey, about the impending arrival of Hansen.
And we understand that Boro will be paying near €4.5m for the 23-year-old.
In terms of how the North East outfit will use Hansen, Middlesbrough see the Dutchman as a number 10 who can play next to Finn Azaz when the Irishman is fit.
Sontje Hansen stats
Hansen has spent his entire career to date in the Netherlands, having left Ajax’s youth ranks for NEC Nijmegen in 2023.
The Dutch U21 international has played the majority of his career games on the right wing, but has experience all across the front line.
