Plymouth Argyle are going through a restructuring process with their squad following relegation to the Championship.
Tom Cleverley will lead the Pilgrims through their League One campaign after EFL fans slammed Watford for sacking the ex-Manchester United midfielder despite keeping the club firmly in the second tier.
Gareth Bale was rumoured to be interested in a takeover of Plymouth, but it later turned out that the club involved is actually Cardiff City and any excitement involving a potential takeover at Home Park has cooled.
With Ryan Hardie already departed for Wrexham, another player has officially left the Greens for the 2025/26 season and fans all seem to be in agreement about one thing.

Plymouth Argyle fans react to Michael Baidoo departure
Michael Baidoo joined Plymouth from Swedish club Elfsborg in the January transfer window for a club record fee of £1.5m, as per Expressen.

However, he will now join Qatari outfit Umm Salal SC on 1 July. The deal will be a season-long loan, and supporters have taken to social media to post their thoughts on the decision.
Another Argyle fan wrote: “Do feel like this needs to be better justified by the club. Club record fee only 6 months ago to Qatar now, why?”
While a third put: “What a pointless signing he was.”
A fifth Plymouth supporter said: “I feel like the club is going backwards, who is making these decisions. I thought Baidoo might step up in League One, we are going to need some serious recruitment if we want to be anywhere near the top 6.”
As a sixth wrote: “Just get rid of him completely.”

Michael Baidoo has had a torrid time in Devon
Baidoo played in seven successive league games at the start of his time at Home Park but he failed to get going in front of goal – failing to score or register an assist at all.
| Appearances (starts) | 11 (4) |
| Minutes played | 448 |
| Goals (assists) | 0 (0) |
| xG | 0.41 |
| Shots (on target) | 1 (1) |
| Pass accuracy | 66.3% |
| Chances created | 6 |
He played just four more times in the Championship for Plymouth, playing just 28 minutes of football at the end of his time in Devon.
Baidoo has not lived up to expectations at all and getting back some of the cash that was spent on him at the start of the year is crucial going forward. It seems likely that a permanent move to another club will follow at some point in the near future and that is the best for all parties at this point.
