Richard Kone has been the source of significant interest throughout this summer, with the likes of Leicester City and Swansea City battling it out for the striker.
Wycombe Wanderers lowered their initial asking price for the 22-year-old last week as competition for the talented forward stepped up.
It was revealed back in March that as many as 10 clubs had been targeting Kone after he burst onto the scene for the Chairboys in League One, and now his departure looks set to be finalised.
The Championship has been the likely destination throughout this summer, and after significant interest from Luton Town back in January, EFL Analysis can now reveal the Ivorian’s next club.

Exclusive: Richard Kone set to join QPR from Wycombe Wanderers
As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis understands that Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal with Wycombe Wanderers for their star striker Richard Kone.

We understand the overall deal is worth the £5m that Wanderers were holding out for on their Ivorian ace, although the initial deal is just less than £3m with add-ons taking the deal to £5m.
Swansea have previously had bids turned down, while Leicester have held talks, and it remains to be seen if anyone can stop Rangers from landing him.
We understand Kone is attracted by the move to West London having been given permission to talk to QPR, with a medical booked in for tomorrow.

QPR have had a sensational summer transfer window
While their first result of the season was relatively underwhelming, it cannot be denied how impressive the R’s have been in this summer’s transfer window.
QPR beat Birmingham City to the signing of Kwame Poku in June, and Rumarn Burrell also joined from League One side Burton Albion.

However, Kone is perhaps their greatest piece of business, especially considering the fact that the likes of Leicester were pursuing a deal for the striker.
Julien Stephan has the number nine he needs to help end QPR’s Premier League hiatus in the coming years, and this is a statement signing to the rest of the Championship.
