Derby County face Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday lunchtime as the Championship welcomes in gameweek seven.
It’s not been the easiest of starts to the season for the Rams, and they currently occupy the relegation zone. However, they are level on points with Watford, who were beaten 1-0 by Millwall on Monday evening.
Derby have an excellent record against Wrexham and John Eustace has the chance to extend that as the East Midlands outfit make their first visit to the Red Dragons since 1982.
However, with Saturday’s hosts not enjoying the best record at home so far this season, this game is not the easiest to predict, and it’s anyone’s game in Wales this weekend.

Benjamin Bloom and Sam Parkin predict Wrexham vs Derby County draw
These two sides last faced off in the FA Cup in 2007, and it was the Rams who ran out as the winners in that clash, beating Wrexham 3-1 at Pride Park.

However, this is the first time that the two have been on a level playing field for 43 years and neither Benjamin Bloom nor Sam Parkin can split them.
Bloom said of the clash: “We were talking about the Wrexham playing squad and first XI now being a bit more ready. Obviously, they’ve still got Broadhead to add to that as well. Derby at the moment this season though, when I settle into an opinion on them they prove me wrong.
“It was good to see Agyemang, I think he’ll start possibly. He’ll definitely start one of the three games in the three game week, maybe it’ll be the first one, or maybe they’ll wait for a home game. Low-scoring then, even though Wrexham have been conceding chances. I’m going to play another 1-1, Sam.”
Parkin agreed, and told Bloom: “I like the draw, mate, but I’m going to open it up and say 2-2. I just think Wrexham are going to be involved in a lot of open games.
“I don’t think that’s going to change right now, and I think Derby are going to be a good side in time this season. I think they’ll probably make more chances on Wrexham’s goal than they’ve been able to do in recent weeks. But I think firepower for the home side.”

How John Eustace can pull off back-to-back away wins in the Championship
Last weekend was a tough ride for the Rams, and their 1-0 defeat to Preston North End was extremely frustrating for everyone at Pride Park.
Lewis Travis knows Derby must improve, and his manager can help by having a more positive attacking mindset from the off against Wrexham and Phil Parkinson.

The Red Dragons have not been the most secure side defensively this season and Carlton Morris will be excited at the opportunity that awaits him. If the Rams can get the ball into dangerous areas for their number nine, he will find the back of the net.
Eustace missed out on a quick winger in the transfer window, and this will still be a massive transfer regret, but if his full-backs can get into attacking positions then they may just have the key to unlocking this Wrexham defence.
