Blackburn Rovers are enduring a difficult run of form, and Burnley fans have now taken the chance to mock their rivals.
Burnley return to Championship action this weekend with a home meeting against Bristol City.
A win for the Clarets could see Scott Parker’s side climb into the automatic promotion places, depending on how Sheffield United and Leeds United get on this weekend.

Blackburn Rovers, on the other hand, are enduring a tough run of form that looks set to see them blow any chance they had of earning a place in the play-offs.
After losing John Eustace to Derby County, Rovers opted to appoint Valerien Ismael as their new manager in late February.
It’s been a rough ride for the new head coach so far, however, with Blackburn fans slamming Ismael after losing to Stoke City.
He’s currently winless in his first four games as Blackburn boss, further adding to the unrest already at the club.

Burnley fans mock Blackburn Rovers’ request to hierarchy
EFL Analysis understands that Blackburn owner Venky is not looking to sell the club despite his absence.
However, Rovers fans have still seemingly had enough of their team’s hierarchy, with it revealed this week that a number of supporters have asked the likes of Rudy Gestede and CEO Steve Waggott not to attend anymore matches in 2024/25.
This news has since reached Burnley X/Twitter and the Clarets faithful are, as you would expect, not exactly sympathetic, taking the opportunity to mock their rivals.
One fan wrote: “Form must have dropped off a cliff again.”
A second replied: “Same story, different season lol. Rovers are consistent, I’ll give them that.”
Another mocked: “Just woke up to this sad and distressing news. Oh wait, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.”
“Again the gift that just keeps on giving,” a fourth replied.
While another Burnley fan simply wrote: “Embarrassing,” followed by several emojis.

Valerien Ismael gives Blackburn boost ahead of Portsmouth
Next up for Blackburn is an away meeting with Portsmouth on Saturday, March 29th.
While Rovers are on a poor run going into the match, they have been boosted by the return of four players this week, as confirmed by Ismael in his pre-match press conference.
He said: “We’ve got four players back from injuries. Danny Batth, Owen Beck, Ryan Hedges and Harry Pickering are back, and that brings us experience, energy and intensity. It gives me more options now and more flexibility if you need to make changes.
“They’ve trained well, they’ve each completed the full programmes that we set them during their rehabilitation.
“It’s a good thing to have that kind of headache than the other one when you’re missing players.
“Every game we’d lost players and it feels a lot more stable, so fingers crossed we can have that availability between now and the rest of the season.
