Birmingham City are set to return to the Championship next season and are expected to have a busy summer transfer window.
The Blues eased past the rest of the competition in League One to win the title several weeks ago.
Birmingham City then broke a record in the third tier over the weekend when they notched a staggering 105 points.
Reading’s EFL total is now in reach with two games to go, while much of the attention from fans and the owners has turned toward the summer.
Tom Wagner recently suggested that Birmingham could break their transfer record if a good deal becomes available.
Now, one EFL pundit has been speaking about the club going into the 2025/26 season.

Birmingham City backed for big transfer window
David Prutton has already backed Birmingham to finish in the play-offs once next season comes to a close.
Elsewhere, Sam Parkin has been discussing the Midlands outfit on his Championship Check-In podcast this week.
When doing so, Parkin backed the Blues to show much improvement from what we have seen from them in the second tier in recent years.
He said: “He has got so much good experience as a number two and as a coach, Chris Davis, you’d expect him to take to the Championship like a duck to water. I would almost be astonished if they’re back where Birmingham have previously been in the Championship in 17th 18th position.
He then added that he’s expecting Birmingham to have a big summer transfer window.
Parkin said: “Birmingham, yeah, I don’t expect them to struggle next year, absolutely not. I expect them to go big in the market as well.
What we know about Birmingham City’s summer transfer plans
Parkin’s prediction of a big summer falls in line with information we received regarding the Blues recently.
Birmingham will be ‘aggressive’ and are expected to be pushing for a place in the Premier League next season.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey told us: “Birmingham want to get to the Premier League at the first attempt. I am told they will be one of the most aggressive sides in England this summer.
“They want promotion and will back Chris Davies with everything they have. They are determined to do an Ipswich and secure back-to-back promotions.”
