One West Brom starlet in particular has enjoyed a headline-grabbing run of form amid the international break.
West Brom entered the international break in second place in the Championship table after an impressive start to second tier life under Ryan Mason.
After the international break, West Brom host Derby County only weeks after suffering a penalty shoot-out loss to John Eustace’s side in the Carabao Cup opening round.
Following that defeat, West Brom beat Wrexham 3-2 and took four points from six on offer with a draw against Portsmouth and a win at Stoke City before the break.
West Brom made some exceptional signings this summer, and one recruit in particular has taken his outstanding early-season form into the international fixtures.

Chris Brunt praises West Brom star Isaac Price for Northern Ireland performance
Since arriving from Standard Liege in the summer for a reported £2.5m fee, attacking midfielder Price has been in sparkling form for club and country.
Price scored twice against Wrexham in a man-of-the-match performance to inspire West Brom’s win, and followed that up with an assist for Mikey Johnston’s opener against Portsmouth.
With three goals and one assist from his first four Championship outings, Price starred for Northern Ireland against Germany after scoring his side’s equaliser which was cancelled out by two second-half goals for the hosts.
Price became the youngest player to score 10 goals for Northern Ireland after his stunning volley against Germany, and after the game, Baggies legend Chris Brunt heaped praise on the 21-year-old.
Brunt told BBC Sport: “Isaac Price has been a breath of fresh air since he joined West Brom.
“Sometimes he can give the ball away, but he brings a massive goal threat from all areas, and he has enthusiasm and a great work rate.
“Every time Price pulls on a green-and-white shirt, it seems to bring a goalscoring thing out in him.”
EFL Analysis exclusively revealed recently that West Brom face a “battle” to keep Price in January, with several Premier League clubs including Burnley, Brentford, Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Fulham all keeping close tabs on the gifted youngster.
It goes without saying that Mason will be desperate to retain the Northern Ireland ace for the course of the season, as he could be the difference-maker in the Baggies’ promotion push.

Isaac Price can fire West Brom to promotion to Premier League
As a result of the top flight interest in Price, the best way for West Brom to retain the magnificent midfielder is to continue their trajectory towards Premier League promotion.
With West Brom losing Tom Fellows to Southampton this summer, many Baggies fans will have feared for their promotion prospects as a result, but Price has taken up his mantle with aplomb.
| Key statistic | Isaac Price so far in Championship |
| Goals + Assists | 3 + 1 |
| Shots on target | 6 |
| Chances created | 8 |
| Successful passes | 79 |
| Touches | 157 |
If his early-season form is anything to go by, Price will be the most important piece of the puzzle for West Brom boss Mason, and it is crucial that the Northern Ireland star stays beyond January.
Mason will be desperate to see Price continue his impressive form, which earned the starlet international recognition this week, in the post-break visit of Derby on Saturday afternoon.
