Sheffield Wednesday fans are watching their club get torn apart as Dejphon Chansiri continues to cash in on their most talented assets.
Although there was some positive news on Monday, as Danny Rohl returned to Sheffield Wednesday training, the Owls also had to come to terms with losing Anthony Musaba.
Musaba joined Samsunspor on a four-year contract at the end of last week, marking the end of a successful two years at Hillsborough.
The exciting winger isn’t the only one heading for the exit door, as last season’s top scorer Josh Windass wants to leave Sheffield Wednesday amid the club’s ongoing financial crisis.
Meanwhile, Djeidi Gassama’s move to Rangers was officially confirmed on Tuesday, and the 21-year-old has left a cryptic message for supporters to mull over.

Djeidi Gassama sends cryptic message after joining Rangers
While Russell Martin was excited about signing Gassama, supporters of Sheffield Wednesday were left saddened by his departure.
Rangers have secured a bargain for £2.5 million, as the direct and pacey winger scored seven goals in 43 Championship outings last term and was seen as a potential Premier League player in the future.
As a result, supporters have directed their anger towards Dejphon Chansiri, who is asset-stripping the Wednesday squad due to their financial problems.
Interestingly, after his move to Scotland was finalised, Gassama posted a cryptic four-word message on Instagram, writing: “It’s time to go.”

On the surface, it suggests he’s speaking about his transfer to the Gers. But the Frenchman could also be referencing Chansiri, who has failed to pay his players on multiple occasions.
This message was also posted after US sports entrepreneur Tilman Fertitta made an offer for Sheffield Wednesday over the weekend. Fertitta is the latest name to emerge as a contender to buy the club from Chansiri, and supporters are praying a takeover happens as soon as possible.

Gassama comments after joining Rangers
It’s such a shame that Wednesday are being stripped of all their best talent during a time when the club have been hit with a three window transfer ban.
However, given the current circumstances, there’s no surprise that most players are looking to jump ship, especially to a club that can offer European football.
Speaking after joining the Scottish giants, Gassama told the Rangers official website: “I am very happy to be here, I am very excited to start with my new club, it is a big club with a lot of history.
“For a long time, I have known about Rangers, and when they came in this summer I said to my agent, ‘we go directly’.
“I have seen some games, and some European games, and I really like it.”
While Gassama could be playing Champions League football in 2025/26, his former club will anticipate a relegation battle on the cards.
