Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl is now attracting interest from Premier League clubs.
Danny Rohl has done a remarkable job at Hillsborough, helping the Owls avoid relegation in 2023/24 and securing a mid-table finish this term.
The German has subsequently been attracting interest in the last couple of months.
We revealed in March that Southampton were interested in Rohl, who has a release clause of just under £5m.
More recently, it emerged that Leicester liked the Sheffield Wednesday boss and had him on their short-list of potential replacements should Ruud van Nistelrooy leave.
Now, Rohl has earned sutiros from inside the top tier of English football.

Crystal Palace and Fulham eye Danny Rohl
Leicester and Southampton will be joining Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship once 2025/26 kicks off.
But there are now two teams in the Premier League who are interested in making a move for Rohl.
Sky Sports journalist Philipp Hinze has provided an update on the situation on May 6, naming Crystal Palace and Fulham among clubs looking at the ex-Bayern Munich coach.
He wrote on X/Twitter: “Danny Röhl is facing a departure from Sheffield Wednesday. He has an exit option in his contract – worth a sum in the single-digit million range.
“There’s interest from the Premier League. Crystal Palace and Fulham, among others, are interested in the 36-year-old should Glasner or Silva leave.
“There’s also interest from PL relegated sides Leicester and Southampton. A Bundesliga transfer isn’t ruled out, but England is hotter right now.”
What Danny Rohl said about Sheffield Wednesday future
Rohl commented on his Sheffield Wednesday future in late April, revealing he’d already told the club his decision.
He said: “The chairman of the club knows my decision. This is important and the club know what is in my mind. I think today, tomorrow is not the day to speak about this, it is about after the season. We want to finish the season and then let’s see in which direction it goes.
“I am very clear, for me it was important that the club knows not too late what is in my mind. From this point we carry on, I must say the players gave me a big, big lift on Monday (win v Middlesbrough) and it was great to see how much they invest and that we can win against big teams in this league. It was a good signal.
“I spoke with the club and now we will see in the final week, in the next days what it means and what we can and can’t do. For me it was important that I informed the club earlier on what is in my mind.”
Rohl has done an excellent job with the Owls, and fans would no doubt be upset to see him go.
We have already taken a look at candidates to become the next Sheffield Wednesday manager should the 36-year-old indeed leave.
