Harry Amass has made a solid start to life at Sheffield Wednesday so far.

Amass was praised by Owls fans for his brilliant performance in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against QPR.

Man United are paying for Amass’ loan deal so that Wednesday can help develop the 18-year-old in preparation for his return to Old Trafford.

The left-back has been a shining light in a difficult time for the Yorkshire club after Wednesday were hit with another embargo.

At least there is one shining light, and even the youngster’s teammates are recognising his talents.

Jamal Lowe sends Man United a message after Harry Amass display

The youngster posted to Instagram after the 1-1 draw at Hillsborough, where he thanked those who came to the game for the support.

He had a simple message, commenting: “We keep building , thank you to the fans as always,” followed by a blue love heart emoji.

There were plenty of comments from his Man United teammates, but it was Wednesday’s Jamal Lowe who sent United a message, reading: “Thank you Carrington.”

Harry Amass could be a future England left back

Previous Man United managers have been extremely excited by Amass, who has been at the club since being signed while a teenager at Watford.

Ruben Amorim gave him a handful of opportunities in the Premier League last season, but regular football is important at his age.

If he can keep on this trajectory, there is no reason why he can’t become a regular for Man United, as well as nailing down the left-back slot for England.
