Sheffield Wednesday are yet to make a signing this summer, but they are now looking at three trialists.
In a boost for the club, Sheffield Wednesday’s embargoes were lifted by the EFL last week.
It emerged shortly after that the Owls want to sign Harry Amass from Manchester United on loan for the 2025/26 season.
His Red Devils teammate, Toby Collyer, is of interest to Sheffield Wednesday as well.
Now, the club have confirmed they are taking a look at three new players this week.

Sheffield Wednesday use trialists vs Charlton Athletic
Wednesday took Mohamed Konate on trial earlier this summer and used an unknown goalkeeper in a U21 friendly.
It was later revealed that former Hull City player Shea Callister was the unnamed shot-stopper.
However, Sheffield Wednesday won’t be signing Callister, with the keeper thought to have been looking for another club in late July.
But more players could be signed by the Yorkshire team in the coming weeks, with three new trialists named in the squad to face Charlton Athletic in a U21 fixture on August 12.
None of the trialists included in the squad are named.
What Henrik Pedersen has said about transfers
The Owls kicked off their season with a defeat to Leicester City on Sunday.
Following that match, new manager Henrik Pedersen gave a Sheffield Wednesday transfer update.
He said: “We need new players, otherwise you cannot play a Championship with 46 games.
“We need some guys very quickly, but still, we need to have the right feeling when we sign someone.”
