Leicester City have one day left of the transfer window to complete any business.
It’s been a busy one for Marti Cifuentes but that only applies to outgoings.
A raft of names have departed the King Power Stadium, including goalkeeper Mads Hermansen and long-time servants, James Justin and Wilfred Ndidi.
Asmir Begovic is the only signing so far but despite talks of EFL-imposed sanctions, the Foxes are not under a business plan.
There is still chance that their stance could change before the window closes at 7PM on 1 September, and there are three important tasks they must complete.

Sign a striker
At the top of everyone’s list for Leicester City is a striker.
Yes, they’ve won three of their first four games, but the club only has one out-and-out striker in Patson Daka.
Jordan Ayew has led the line in every Championship game but often finds himself coming deeper and covering the space that belongs to an attacking midfielder.
Injuries to either one of those two leaves the Foxes incredibly short-changed. Mihailo Ivanovic would be a great fit for Leicester but they would have to cough up a hefty amount to pluck him away from Millwall.
Keep Abdul Fatawu
Nathan Jones predicted Abdul Fatawu to be a Premier League player by the end of the window. Leicester will be hoping that doesn’t come true and it’s up to them to do so.
There has been minimal interest in the Ghanaian’s services so far. Everton were linked with Fatawu and if they saw his performance and goal against Birmingham City, they may well go back in for him.
Fatawu is still working his way back up to speed after last season’s injury lay-off but has already been a standout player and having him in the squad after deadline day is a win for Leicester and a warning to the Championship.
Resolve the Bilal El Khannouss saga
Eyebrows were raised when Bilal El Khannouss wasn’t in the squad for the win against Birmingham, especially after Cifuentes said he was available.
Leicester could sell El Khannouss for more than £40m to Saudi Arabia, but if he isn’t going anywhere, a decision needs to be made on whether to integrate him or not.

El Khannouss is far too good to sit on the bench and if he is to remain at the King Power Stadium until January at least, an agreement needs to be made.
