A busy summer lies ahead for West Brom and their new manager Ryan Mason, and we know just the player he needs to sign from his former club.
After weeks of speculation, the Baggies finally landed their man, snapping up Mason from Tottenham Hotspur in the wake of their Europa League triumph.
Mason has already brought in two new coaches, both of whom he worked with previously at Spurs. Now, we wait and see what the young manager can do in the transfer market as he looks to turn West Brom into genuine promotion contenders.
With lots of work to be done, Mason can waste no time, but he will already know a great deal about one player at Tottenham that no one seems to be mentioning.

West Brom should sign Luka Vuskovic on loan
Spurs fans know Mason likes to develop young players, and it’s already been suggested he could tap up his former club for new signings this summer.
There are plenty of Spurs players Mason will want to bring with him, albeit temporarily, and one young player he must surely look at is Luka Vuskovic.
West Brom are losing Semi Ajayi as a free agent this summer, while Mason Holgate has returned to Everton after his loan spell. Suffice it to say a new centre-half is a must.
Vuskovic may only be 18-years-old but he comes off the back of a stunning loan spell in Belgium with KVC Westerlo, where he not only put in solid displays at the back but also registered seven goals and three assists.
Obviously, the Championship is a big step up, but Vuskovic has shown all the signs that he’s capable of greatness in the future, and he could do an incredible job for West Brom in the here and now.

Luka Vuskovic just had an incredible season on loan, he needs EFL experience now
That loan spell with Westerlo has drawn some attention to Vuskovic, with Ben Jacobs telling TBR Football that the youngster has made a big impression on those at Tottenham now.
He said: “I think Tottenham were incredibly impressed by Vuskovic and his loan spell at Westerlo. Most of the reason is because they’re realising this is a very intelligent player who can defend solidly, but also has effective attacking qualities as well.
| Statistics | Luka Vuskovic 2024/25 |
| Games | 36 |
| Minutes | 2,965 |
| Goals | 7 |
| Assists | 3 |
| Clean sheets | 6 |
“That’s exactly the type of player Spurs and Ange Postecoglou like – someone that can make an impact in both boxes.”
The only thing for Vuskovic now is that he needs to get acclimatised to English football. The whole point of his time in Belgium was to rack up more Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) points, and now that he’s ticked that box, it’s all about preparing for life in the Spurs first team.
What better way to continue his development and show what he can do than to join forces with Ryan Mason, a man he and his parent club have absolute trust in?
