Sheffield Wednesday have wasted little time trying to recruit players following their EFL embargoes being lifted.
The EFL put Sheffield Wednesday under multiple embargoes this summer, which has stopped them from adding to their slim squad.
However, it emerged going into the weekend that the Owls’ embargoes will be lifted now they are able to pay off debts via money received from the Premier League.
A fee restriction on transfers is set to remain in place, but official confirmation of the embargoes being lifted was forthcoming on Friday.
Amid Sheffield Wednesday getting more freedom in the market, they are now targeting two Manchester United players.
