Leicester City’s transfer window has been a story of frustration so far this summer.
Asmir Begovic is the Foxes’ only arrival this summer as Leicester have focused on getting players off their books.
While Bilal El Khannouss prepares to join Stuttgart, Leicester have worked on incomings and could have as many as three players join before the deadline.
However, there has been one small setback in their attempts to sign one player.

Jonas Omlin will not be joining Leicester City
Not every target identified by the Foxes will be joining after Florian Plettenberg confirmed that their attempt to sign Jonas Omlin had collapsed.
Marti Cifuentes only has two senior goalkeepers on his books after the departure of Mads Hermansen and wanted Omlin to come in as a backup option who could also challenge Jakub Stolarczyk.
That appears to be dead in the water, though, after the latest update revealed the deal was off.
Borussia Mochengladbach wanted an option or obligation to buy included in the loan deal, which is something Leicester weren’t willing to do.
Leicester City transfer deadline day state of play
There is only a matter of hours left in the transfer window and it will be a busy end for the Foxes.
Julian Carranza is set to become Jamie Vardy’s successor as a loan signing.
Jordan James and Aaron Ramsey are also loan options for the Foxes and if they can get the three players in, that would be deemed as a successful window.
