Millwall secured progression in the Carabao Cup with a victory over Coventry City, building on their good start to the Championship season.
The Lions came close to securing qualification for the play-offs last season but missed out on the final day, and they appear to be building to launch another bid to compete for promotion this campaign.
They have not rested on their laurels and are looking to spend this summer bringing in their record signing, Josh Coburn from Middlesbrough, and now they are chasing a player who had been a Wrexham target, Andy Irving from West Ham.

However, the full-back is not the only player they are looking at to strengthen their side ahead of the transfer deadline, as they are now looking at bringing in another attacker.
Millwall aiming to sign Jusef Erabi
It has been reported by Fabrizio Romano on social media that Millwall are looking to sign Jusef Erabi from Hammarby IF for a fee of €5 million.
The Swedish striker is of interest to both Millwall and Belgian club Genk, with the player needing to talk to both clubs, as the offers they have tabled are the same, so it is believed it is the player’s choice on where his future lies.
Erabi has slowly increased his influence at the Swedish club, having broken into the club in 2021; however, he has become a key player since 2023, as he has now scored a total of 26 goals in 74 appearances.
The decision by Millwall to make a move for Erabi could indicate the future of Mihailo Ivanovic being away from the club, as he has been linked with several clubs this summer.

Erabi has been described as the ‘most handsome guy in the world’
The Swedish striker has previously been described as the ‘most handsome guy in the world’ by the captain of Hammarby IF, Nahir Besara, when he spoke to Expressen.
While Millwall fans will not worry about how good-looking Erabi may be, and even then they may disagree with Besara, they will only care about the striker having a positive impact for them on the pitch.
Besara said: “I can’t explain how great the guy is. He cares about the team and about winning more than he cares about scoring goals.

“When he’s been on the bench, he’s pushed everyone, even those who have played before him. He’s been positive and himself. I wish him all the success and happiness.
“He absolutely cares about his appearance. If you ask him, he’s the most handsome in the world! He’s a handsome guy too, but he’s much more than that.”
