QPR are closing in on a new manager and the futures of those on the pitch are quickly being sorted.
Jimmy Dunne was handed a new R’s deal last week, while supporters bid farewell to Lucas Andersen following a 16-month stay at Loftus Road.
Julien Stephan is set to be the new Hoops manager, and the Frenchman will be tasked with ending QPR’s 11-season Championship stay following a mid-table finish under the guidance of Marti Cifuentes, who is on gardening leave, in 2024/25.
However, there is a new exciting transfer link that fans will be extremely delighted to see. But a deal is not straightforward.

QPR show interest in Kwame Poku
The saga surrounding Kwame Poku seems as though it has gone on for months, and with the Peterborough United ace’s contract set to expire at the end of June, a conclusion is perhaps closer than it has ever been.

Yet, in a new twist, QPR have entered the race for the winger’s signature as the Championship side look to beat Rangers to a deal, according to Pete O’Rourke.
However, our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, has told EFL Analysis that Poku is keeping his options open for now, and we understand that there remains interest from Belgium and France.
Kwame Poku would be a statement signing for the Hoops
There are plenty of clubs showing an interest in the 23-year-old, and it is no surprise to see why after a tremendous campaign for Peterborough in League One.
While the Posh struggled on the whole, Poku was a real bright spark, scoring 12 goals and registering eight assists in just 27 league games.

Bringing the winger to Loftus Road would be a huge coup for QPR. There is no denying that he has the potential to be come a top Championship player in the coming years, but competition from top flight clubs in Europe will be hard to compete with.
Peterborough would much prefer Poku to join a side in England as they will get compensation from a deal, but the player will have a huge ambition to play at the highest level he can as soon as possible.
