Leeds United are in disarray at the moment, with just one win in their last six games and promotion hopes fading fast, leaving pundits to discuss a multitude of issues at the club.
Just over a month ago, Leeds United looked on course to secure the Championship title and return to the Premier League with ease.
Now, though, the Whites are dropping points every time they play, key players are making mistakes, and Daniel Farke desperately needs to stop the rot somehow.
Leeds are falling apart, that much is clear. After yet another disappointing draw this weekend in the Championship, just how can Farke fix this mess?

Leeds United mentality is a mess right now
Discussing Leeds United’s plight on the 72+ Football Daily podcast, Jobi McAnuff outlined the problems at the heart of this recent demise for the Yorkshire outfit, and suggested the mentality of the squad is simply not good enough.
He said: “Where do we start, the fact that we’re even having a discussion about this wobble is not a good start for Leeds United. I just felt that this game in particular, they were the team that needed the international break just to have a reset and a little bit of a breather and restock.
“But coming off the back of that they needed to come out all guns blazing but the performance against Swansea wasn’t great. For me, there’s so many question marks, not around the ability of the squad, we know they have a fantastic squad but now it’s about mentality to concede as late as they did.”
“I’ve got serious concerns about this result and performance and how damaging it could be between now and the end of the season.”

In the last few games, Leeds have conceded first against lowly Luton, late on against Swansea, and found themselves 2-0 down against QPR before fighting back to draw 2-2.
In some ways, battling back from a deficit is a real sign of strength, but the fact Leeds are even finding themselves needing to do that says it all.
Farke even described the draw against Luton as a ‘good point’, which will do nothing to alleviate those claims that Leeds simply do not have the right mentality to be champions this year.

The damage is already done for Leeds United, it’s too late
Honestly, with the way things are going right now, it would not be at all surprising to see Leeds miss out on promotion again this season.
Burnley are marching on and look better than ever, and would appear to be the favourites for title now, while Sheffield United do seem to have what it takes to grind out results (the defeat to Oxford at the weekend aside).

Farke will be desperate to beat Middlesbrough tomorrow night and get things going in the right direction again. But, you have to think that defeat at the Riverside would be an absolute disaster, and be the final nail in the coffin for Leeds’ automatic promotion hopes.
Fans may say Leeds have no luck, or that Farke didn’t recruit properly in January, but the fact of the matter is, the team has completely crumbled under the weight of expectations at the worst possible time.
