The Whites are falling apart again and fans will be frustrated at Daniel Farke’s claims in the wake of full-time. They have it all to play for in the run-in now that they have dropped to third, having started today in second.
James’ strike was a moment of real quality, but many fans have since seen the goal that got Burnley in front. The scrappy goal from Anthony was enough to swing Burnley ahead of Leeds, much to the frustration of Leeds supporters.

Leeds fans react to Jaidon Anthony goal for Burnley against Coventry City
Sky Sports took to X to post the goal for Anthony, and the reaction from Leeds fans spoke volumes about their mentality at the business end of the season. They were all very similar in terms of their responses in the latest twist in the Championship race.
One Leeds fan said: “Typical of the luck Burnley have had all season. Enjoy the premier league boys, luck will not save you. You’ll finish the season without a single point.”
Another responded: “Footballing gods with us today I see.”
A further supporter added: “It doesn’t help when keepers are gifting goals to our rivals, we don’t get this sort of luck.”

Jaidon Anthony is having a terrific season with Burnley after Leeds loan
Anthony may have been a quality operator at this level with Bournemouth, but Farke struck gold out wide last season meaning he had a bit-part role last term. This season, he has been far more involved at Turf Moor in a second loan spell from the top flight.
Anthony has been a vital part of Scott Parker’s attack and his two goals are the latest important contributions to their season. He is among the top players for goal involvements in their squad.

It’s why they will try to sign him this summer, although an EFL Analysis exclusive revealed there could be an issue without in doing so without promotion at the end of this season.
