It’s all change at the top of the Championship with Burnley winning against Coventry City and Leeds United dropping points away to Luton Town.

Both sides had to come from behind to get their points, with Jaidon Anthony’s brace securing victory for the Clarets away at the CBS Arena and Dan James’ equaliser was all Leeds could muster at Luton.

The Whites are falling apart again and fans will be frustrated at Daniel Farke’s claims in the wake of full-time. They have it all to play for in the run-in now that they have dropped to third, having started today in second.

James’ strike was a moment of real quality, but many fans have since seen the goal that got Burnley in front. The scrappy goal from Anthony was enough to swing Burnley ahead of Leeds, much to the frustration of Leeds supporters.

A further supporter added: “It doesn’t help when keepers are gifting goals to our rivals, we don’t get this sort of luck.”

Jaidon Anthony is having a terrific season with Burnley after Leeds loan

Anthony may have been a quality operator at this level with Bournemouth, but Farke struck gold out wide last season meaning he had a bit-part role last term. This season, he has been far more involved at Turf Moor in a second loan spell from the top flight.

Anthony has been a vital part of Scott Parker’s attack and his two goals are the latest important contributions to their season. He is among the top players for goal involvements in their squad.
