Sheffield Wednesday have reached an agreement with Danny Rohl less than two weeks before the start of the Championship season.
Rohl’s Wednesday future has been in doubt for some time and both the fans and players have been hoping for a solution.
The German was in charge of Wednesday’s behind closed doors pre-season friendly and now, with their opening game of the Championship campaign coming, up, his future has been decided.

Danny Rohl reaches agreement to leave Sheffield Wednesday
According to Mike McGrath of the Telegraph, Danny Rohl has agreed to leave his position as manager of Sheffield Wednesday.
Rohl reportedly said goodbye to the players and staff ahead of the 36-year-old’s inevitable exit and will be leaving Hillsborough.
It comes less than 24 hours after Callum Paterson signed for MK Dons and fellow Owls icon Josh Windass terminated his contract to sign for Wrexham.
Who will become the new Sheffield Wednesday manager?
The chances are that Rohl’s long-time no.2 Henrik Pedersen has been the favourite for some time to take on the job.
It’s likely that he will be the frontrunner due to the lack of finances at the club and controversial owner Dejphon Chansiri will be hoping to save pennies wherever possible.
So far, no other names have been mentioned but given the problems at the Yorkshire club, it isn’t the most attractive job in the world.
