Things have gone from bad to worse off the pitch at Sheffield Wednesday after their players learned some devastating news.
Wednesday were hit with another transfer embargo days ago following a series of missed payments from Dejphon Chansiri.
It has been a running theme for the Yorkshire club and despite the pleas of Barry Bannan towards Chansiri and the owners, more disappointment has followed.

Sheffield Wednesday players won’t be paid on time
According to BBC Radio Sheffield reporter Rob Staton, the Wednesday players won’t be paid on time.
Players were expected to be paid on 30 September but have now been told that there are issues and that they may not receive their monthly salary.
It comes after Wednesday’s club mascot attacked the hierarchy for the way that staff have been treated during the ongoing issues.
Meanwhile, the Sheffield Star has claimed that academy players and technical staff may receive part payment.
It is now five of the last seven months that those affiliated to the club haven’t been paid on time.
Will Birmingham City vs Sheffield Wednesday go ahead?
As it stands, no statement from the players has been released on whether or not they will refuse to play.
Wednesday chose to play against Leicester City despite a similar scenario and the Owls are hoping for back-to-back wins against Birmingham City for the first time since 2016, but the chances are that it will still go ahead.
Manager Henrik Pedersen is also yet to discuss the topic and will be affected by the news as well.
