It’s a huge game for Leeds United and their title aspirations, but Daniel Farke could make one very bold call in his team selection against Bristol City.
Last time out, Leeds trounced Stoke City 6-0 to clinch promotion, but Daniel Farke’s job is not done yet, with the Championship title still up for grabs.
Burnley did their part on Saturday afternoon by thrashing QPR 5-0 to move to the top of the table, but Leeds can return to the summit with a win tonight against play-off chasers Bristol City.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

Leeds won’t have it easy, and things may be a bit chaotic behind the scenes right now, but the players will all be laser-focused on the task at hand, including one young talent that simply has to be given the nod to start.

Harry Gray should step into midfield for full Leeds United debut
Described as a ‘special talent’ by former Leeds man Aaron Lennon, Harry Gray was introduced in that win over Stoke to make his debut for the Whites.
He only got four minutes plus stoppage time there, but his arrival was an exciting moment for Leeds fans, who love to see their academy graduates stepping up and being given the chance on the big stage.
Naturally, at 16-years-old, it’s important to look after the development of such a young player. But, at the same time, when a player is as talented as Gray is, you can’t hold him back and stifle him.
Leeds fans have made their feelings on Ilia Gruev very clear, with some criticising him for playing too ‘safe’ and hampering the expansive style of Farke’s side. The Bulgarian is solid, but is not exactly what you’d describe as progressive.
Gray, meanwhile, would come in hungry to show what he can do, and would surely offer more creativity and dynamism in the midfield, which could be crucial to unlocking a stubborn and quietly impressive Bristol City team.

Daniel Farke’s job may be at risk, but he could still set the club up for future success
It’s been an odd few days at Leeds United. After they celebrated promotion in style, the Whites were expected to push on and win the title before thinking about survival in the Premier League.
However, the club was rocked last week by news that Daniel Farke could be sacked at the end of the season despite winning promotion.
Apparently, there are fears that Farke may have taken Leeds as far as he can already. Much like Southampton and Russell Martin, the Leeds hierarchy are potentially considering cutting their losses now and trying to avoid a nightmare start to life back in the top tier.
Whether he stays or not, Farke can still have a huge impact on the future of Leeds United, and allowing Harry Gray to flourish now would be a massive part of that.
The youngster has potential to be a key player for the Whites moving forward. Either that, or he could be a big source of income for the club, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur sniffing around.
Farke may feel like he owes Leeds nothing at this point, but he could inadvertently give them a multi-million pound cash injection by putting Gray in the shop window tonight.
